J.D.
J.,
I am part of a website called www.daycarematch.com. You can find all different types of childcare. I am not sure if parents have to pay to use the site I am on there are a preschool provider. Good luck, J.
Help!
So far this has been a frusterating experience- I have used child care centers in the past but they are too expensive for us now. I am looking for a home day care where people feel good about leaving their children- someone who is amazing with kids and who doesn't have the t.v. on on a frequent basis, who plays with kids and has them involved in various activities on a regular basis. Any suggestions would be helpful! I have looked up in home daycares on the DHS website and also on the GMDA website (although it seems to not be in existance anymore). Thanks!!!

Hi J.,
I'm a local childcare coordinator for program called Cultural Care Au Pair. It's a flexible and affordable childcare option. Go to www.culturalcare.com to learn more. Please let me know if I can answer any of your questions.

I too was looking for daycare in the NE area, it is not easy! I posted an add on craigslist (it's free) and I received quite a few positive responses. I have not decided on one yet but it has been the best resource so far.
