I am looking for a crib and possibly a changing table or rocking chair. Needs to be in good condition and I would prefer a darker stained wood for the crib and changing table. Thanks

I HAVE A BABY CRIB WITH MATTRESS THAT IS STILL IN PLASTIC IN GOOD CONDITION. IT IS NOT THE DARK WOOD THAT YOU PREFER THOUGH, IT IS WHITE. I ALSO HAVE SOME BEDDING.
Have you tried looking at consignment shops? There are several in the dallas area. I have found some nice things at Once Upon A Child. Good luck!

in all the baby stores they have little Dallas Child booklets. in that there is an entire page listing consingment stores. lots of them had cribs, but not 2 that matched, but we did get our car seats there and saved a bundle. i just called all of them and shopped from home.

We are in Richardson and are almost done with our crib. The catch is that it is older and doesn't convert to anything like the cribs in the stores. The good news is that it's free and we'll be finished with it in about a month.
R., There is a HUGE consignment sale that only happens twice a year and it is coming up in February. It is called Divine Consign. I went there right after my first child was born and couldn't believe the deals on furniture, cloths, strollers, toys, etc. You can check out the dates and places of the two sales at www.divineconsign.net. I would recommend getting there early in the morning. I think that the Plano sale is the only one where they let people sell furniture. Hope this helps!
