How about if you got the girls "big sister" shirts and when ready at a family party or something have the girls wear them and let people notice on there own... Think that's kinda cool myself.
I am 6 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child. Of course I am not going to tell anyone yet- but when I am ready I would like to share this news in a creative and special way!
I have two daughters, ages 4 and 6. It would be nice to include them in the surprise.
If you have any great ideas, please share!
Thanks!

Congrat!!! My sister-in-law did something cute. When she was pregnant with her 3rd she had tshirts made for her older daughter and son. They said I'm a big brother and I'm a big sister. So at the next family event they wore them and shcoked everyone...it was great and the kids LOVED it!!! Good luck!!
For my first, I gave my parents a jar of Prego mini-meatball pasta sauce. I picked it 'cause their tag-line used to be 'it's in there!', but the name works perfectly, too.
put pillows under your girls' shirts... take a pic of that and add a "bubble" that says, "guess who's pregnant"
Hi S., What about buying two little mugs for your daughters with a picture of baby on them. Then on your older daughter's mug, you could put "Big Sister Again", and on the younger one's mug "Big Sister". Everybody in the room will probably get it before your girls do. My daughter did that when she was pregnant with her first baby -- she bought each of her brothers a mug and had "Uncle" written on it. It was a great reaction from everybody!

We shared the news on Christmas Day, sort of like one more gift for the family. It was very special. No matter how you do it, it will be very exciting for everyone. Congratulations and good luck.
We told our families on Christmas. We bought personalized M&Ms that said "We're Pregnant". We put a them in tiny plastic presents (we got ours from Tupperware, but you can get little cute containers anywhere - especially this time of the year) and placed them in their stockings. It was hysterical watching to see who would "get it" first by opening the m&ms, read them, and eat them. it was a cute and original idea ... Whatever you do, it will be special!
Give them something for christmas. Like Worlds best ... aunt uncle grandma-pa...shirt, hat or mug.
Hi,
Congrats! How about using blue and pink balloons? Have your kids carry balloons into the grandparents house! Plus the kids can play with the balloons later!
congrats on your pregnancy! We were excited to share the news at x-mas (i was also about 6 wks long). After everyone finished opening their gifts my husband and I said "we have one more gift for the family but it won't be delivered until august" After a long pause and some guesses, we shared that there would be a new member in the family. It was a great way to share the news on an already happy day.
Have your daughters wear t-shirts that say I'm the big sister when you go to tell your families. I did this when I was pregnant with my second baby.
This may sound a little corny but . . if you're hoping for a boy this time you could pick up a blue teddy bear and then make a little sign that says all your names and then goes on to say "are hoping it's a boy". Or a pink bear if you want another girl. You could also get some cards with a blue or pink teddy bear that you could print the same thing on and mail them out as if they were announcements.
Congratulations!!
We took a tiny plastic baby, put it in a plastic Easter Egg & put that in a baby bootie. Then we added a tiny tag that simply said "Guess What?"
We mailed it to both set of inlaws & never said a word. When they rec'd it, they were giddy & ran to the phone to call us.
Good luck!
With our third we put an I'm the big sister shirt on our daughter (our second), for her second birthday party. All the grandparents were there and found out together. You can get the shirts in the hospital gift shop. When we found out we were pregnant with our second we sent all the grandparents a congratulations on your new grandchild card.
You could have t-shirts made for you two kids that have the ultrasound pic on the front and a caption saying "I am going to be a big sister". Maybe not have the writing on them and have the relatives have to figure out what is on their shirts??? Congrats and good luck!
My friend recently sent me an emailed picture of her daughter wearing a tshirt that said "I have a secret...I'm going to be a big sister!" It was great to see who "got it" first! Other ideas I've heard are writing it in fridge letters, or using bath crayons with the kids in the tub.
I think the suggestion to take a picture of your daughter's playing pregnant with a caption "guess who's pregnant?" is great and we just might do that if we are blessed with a 3rd!
I was going to suggest having a dinner with a theme of "baby" food - i.e. baby shrimp, baby corn, baby spinach, baby carrots etc....
We took a picture of the positive pregnancy test and emailed it to our moms, and than texted them and told them to check their emails as soon as they could.
Have the girls help make cards for family and friends. Each child could put one handprint on either side of the card. For the middle, I bet you could find a stamp from a crafting store that has baby foot prints. Then you could write whatever you'd like. Congratulations!

Congratulations! I think you should tell them at christmas. You can give the little girls t-shirts for Christmas that say I'm going to be a big sister and for the older one it can say I'm going to be a big sister (again). Or you can have everyone open up a card with a picture of the sonnagram in it. What ever you decide to do, best wishes!!
We bought chocolate molds in the shape of a pregnant woman and made chocolate lollipops with them. It took everyone a few minutes after we handed them out to see what it was but then it clicked and they all laughed. You can order the molds online melt the chocolate yourself. I bet your girls would enjoy helping with this!!
I third the t-shirt idea. At my daughter's birthday party the last gift she *opened* was a t-shirt that said Big Sister April 2009. You can get the t-shirts that are month and year specific at www.cafepress.com. They also have t-shirts that say "I'm the oldest sister" and "I'm the middle sister." LOADS to choose from!!
With the holiday season you could do something to involve that. If you do christmas you could get an orniment made. My friend had t-shirts made for the other kids Saving we are gonna be big Sisters. You could give a picture frame with 3 pictures 1 for each child- put the ultra sound pic in the last. Congrats.
Congrats! We made an e-video of my son, 3 1/2, saying 'hi grandma, we're having another baby'. She loved it. We live 1,000 away from family so this was a nice way for us to share our news.
If Christmas isn't too soon to tell for you then that would be a lot of fun. You could make a small photo album of your girls for the grandparents. When they flip through the album and look at the pics, have the last one be the ultrasound. You could also have your girls make the anouncement. I have three boys and when I was pregnant with my fourth baby we let the boys tell everyone it was a girl. There is something that makes it so much more emotional when the news comes from the kids.
Congratulations!
It may be a little late for this, but I had a friend who sent a Christmas card with a picture of her 2 kids and her belly with a big question mark on it. Loved that.
Best of luck-please let us know how you decide to spill the beans!
