I have heard good things about Kiwanis. They have a website if you do a google search. They have meetings on weeknights with lots of great activities, and most churches have that.
Hi! I am the mom of 4 daughters, ages 8-16. We attend church in Boulder, but the girls are asking for a youth group in their community so that they can make friends close to home. Does anyone know of weeknight youth groups that cover grade school through high school? We live near Hwy 93, so anything West of Ward Road, south of 100th and north of 32nd would be ideal. We are Presbyterian, but I am open to other Christian venues.
Thank you so much for all of the responses! We will try these different churches and see which is the best fit for our family. Thanks again!

Peace Lutheran on Field in Arvada has a great youth as well as family program on Wednesday nights. They have a bunch of support groups as well as bible studies for all ages. I know some of the people that go there and it is a marvolous place to go. It is off Ralston Rd. not far from Kipling and Red Rock Collage. Check it out it is great!

Hi D.
I just wanted to recommend you check out Faith Bible Chapel. We are on 64th & Ward and a big mega church. I don't have children that age but know there are tons of activities for people of all ages. There are 2 different service times on Sundays and a few different venues for different styles of worship also during that time there are HS group going on I believe they are Rock Pile or On Fire meeting. They also have other activities for the kids all the time. We also have a Saturday night service and a Wednesday. The main number to the church is ###-###-#### and ask to talk to a nice guy named Jeff Rasor although he doesn't necessarily head the HS group he would be able to point you in the right direction. I have been attending FBC for 17 years and I love it. I now have 2 children ages 9 and 2 and they attend as well. My daughter actually goes to Faith Christian Academy which is right there at the church. Anyway I hope this helps.
I thought of two places right off, but I'll keep thinking. Tri-City Baptist Church is at 92nd and Wadsworth area. We really like the people there and are good friends with some of the teen and children's activities. www.tricitybaptist.org ###-###-####
Beth Eden Baptist Church is located at 26th and Wadsworth in Wheatridge. Again, we know a lot of people here and really like the church and school. They may have more to work with since they have a school. www.betheden.org ###-###-####
I know these are a little outside the area you are hoping for. They're the only churches I can think of that have youth activities. If they are too far, they may be able to recommend something closer to your area. I hope you find a good fit!
I have a few recommendations from people at work:
Arvada Covenant Church is on Ward and north of 32nd. This one has a large youth group.
Applewood Baptist Church is 32nd and just east of Youngfield
Golden Baptist and Lookout Mountain Community Church
Did you guys try Faith Bible Chapel? It is a nondenominational Christian church with a lot of different activities for all age ranges. The church itself is located of 64th and Ward. You could come for a Wednesday night service (starts around 6:30, come for supper around 5:15) and find out more about the different groups or go to their website www.fbci.org. Hope you find something your girls will enjoy.

Hi! I don't know if you have heard of Warehouse 81? It is located at just west of Wadsworth at 80th Ave. It is non-denominational and meets every Wednesday evening. I have a 12 year old sister that attends and loves it! I know they run the program through high school. We attend Faith Bible Chapel, and I know that many families send their kids to this bible study program. I hope this helps! Best of luck in your search!

Hi D.-
We attend Ward Rd. Baptist Church which is just north of 58th Avenue and Ward. We absolutely the church family and they have a very active youth group. It is a smaller church, and the kids are very respectful. Hope this helps.
