hi to everyone, I'm looking for a hair place to take my son to, for his first hair cut at a salon (Ash is 14 months). I have always just trimed his hair myself, but i would like to get it cut shorter for the summer. i live in the West Allis area and will go anywhere in milw. if i need to. i would like to find some place that is more of and expert in kids hair then any thing and not a lot of $. i would love to hear any places you have went to and was very happy with. I bring my little guy to "A Hair for Kids" on Greenfield. 14023 W. Greenfield, to be exact. She charges $15 and has lots of toys and things for kids to do. She also does "on the run" hair cuts...for those kids that won't sit still. Her number is ###-###-####.

try kiddos in menomonee falls, it's about 18 dollars i think, but I took my son to fantastic sams in brookfield last time and the stylist there did a good job for 11.95.
I would try Vici Beauty school the students there are GREAT and they need the practice on younger kids! My daughter has been going there forever...she is now 11 and loves it, because they will wash her hair too! It makes her feel like going to a regular salon. They only charge $6.00 for a haircut! There's Whimzy Kids in Elm Grove (on Bluemound across the street from Bluemound Bowl). I haven't been there, but some friends have taken their kids there and love it.
