I'm wondering which studio is the best/most affordable for toddler pictures. I'm not looking for an independent photographer but along the lines of Proex, Sears...etc.
I'd like to know what others' experiences have been with those types of places.

Try Groe Photography in Oakdale. Sitting fees are about $36 and they always do a fantastic job. The studios are very large and inviting to apprehensive children. And unlike Proex, they pictures on the floor so you don't have to worry about your child falling or being afraid of falling off of the cart.

Hello- I take my son to Sears and I do like the pictures, but I have been told by MANY that Sadies in the Mall of America is a really great place and they say its not anymore expensive than Sears. I will take my son there next time. I have seen the pictures from children who have been there and they are REALLY nice. Good Luck!!

My husband and I have had a wonderful experience with ProEx in Highland Village. Specifically, Steve Simon was an excellent photographer. My son, Liam is 4 1/2 months old.

Hi L.,
Believe it or not I have had great luck with Walmart photo studios. They often have specials where you can get a pretty large package for only $4.95!
I have also had good luck with Sears but they are quite a bit more.
good luck!

Hi L..
We've had great luck with the Sears Portrait Studio at the Rice Street Sears. It's cheap ($25 for two years of unlimited sittings) and you're not obligated to buy any prints. The quality has been great, and they're now all-digital so they can adjust the zoom/cropping on pictures. We tend to go three times a year. My son has sometimes been very shy, and they've always been patient with him, which I love.

Prints tend to be $7.99 per sheet, although they have sales. Or, if there's one pose you like, you can get a portrait package for $9.99 (35 pictures) and then buy a proof sheet for $14 if there are other poses you want to remember but don't need 14 wallet prints of.

Hi L.

I recently went to Super Target in Roseville and I was very impressed with the guy there and there are often coupons that make it really affordable. Hope this helps
