I'm looking for advice on OBGYN's in Beaumont. I've heard some good things & some bad things about quite a few. Can anyone give me any recommendations? I have only been to the GYN once since my kids were born almost 7 years ago.
I went to see Dr. Thorn last week. She was really sweet & it was so quiet in there! I really liked it & will definitely go back. Thanks for all the advice!!
I don't know any in beaumont but Dr. Serrano in Port Arthur is very good me and all my friends use him. His office is behind the handlebar on 9th avenue. Good Luck finding one that you like.
I use Dr. Pieternelle at Southeast TX OB/GYN. I switched from Dowdy. I loooove Dr. P. Very warm and doesn't mind explaining things. A lot of OBs are at SETXOB/GYN so if you get one, try to make appts in the morning. Afternoons are CRAZY!
My mother has seen Dr. Thorn, and really didn't like her. I use dr. Moheb at the hospital in Orange, he is great and his staff is too. That is why I drive all the way to orange to see him.
dr. dowdy is awesome! i absolutly love him. he is very good, he always answered even my dumbest questions. he is such a compassionate person and real down to earth. his staff is very good also. i never had any problems with him or your staff. he is located in the tower next to baptist hospital (also a wonerful place) on the 3rd floor. good luck! I see Dr. Dowdy in the professional building at Baptist Hospital. He delivered my first 3 years ago and my second 6 weeks ago. He's really good at what he does and I really value his opinion. He always shoots me straight even if it's not what I want to hear. I like that in a person.
I used Dr. Moses in Port Arthur, Tx. He is very good and funny at the same time. I had to have a c-section and he made me feel good about it. He has awesome bedside manners and ALL his staff are very professional and friendly. And most important, his wait time, is undescribable. You are in and out, but you never feel rushed. Now on the other hand, I would not recommend Dr. Sprott..he is VERY rude and rough. He has no compassion for his patients or his staff for that matter. Believe me, I have worked side by side with him. I am in th field of working with OB/GYN. Hope this helps, and congrats on the new member of your family.
Hi! I would easily recommend Dr. Kendra Thorn she is awesome and is a great listener. She is in the professional building near the St. Elizabeth hospital off Calder. Her nurse staff is great!! They made me feel very comfortable and relaxed...and unlike alot of other OB's in the area she delivers the baby too.
