If you live near Lake Villa, the library has a great (and free) program called "Little Listeners". Check it out at www.LVDL.org They also have other activities for both children you can find on their website.
I am looking for things to do this fall with my 4 year old and 15 month old. My 4 year old is in preschool MWF mornings so we have T/TH available. If anyone has classes or things that they love to do please let me know since I am new to the town.

Give meetup.com a try. There are tons of mommy/playgroups depending on what you are looking for, and what area you are in.
Hi Beverly, if you are close to Waukegan Library they have a Wonderful Story Time at 9:45am every Tuesday. It is a free program and alot of the moms/dads and kids get together
after story time and go to a park near by. This week we are planning a picknic in the park. Please join us if you are available. My name is T. and I have one 18month old daughter named Julia. I'm sure our little ones would get along well, mines very daring too. She makes me so nervous sometimes, but I'm sure you know how that goes. Hope to see you soon...
Here are some links to some activities available in Libertyville.
Music Together, a mixed ages music class held at Dance Center North on Tuesdays. I've done this with both of my kids and they have loved it.

Another music program that we did at the Sports Complex.
Below is a group called Club Mom. A mom's group with great speakers that meets twice a month at the Presbyterian Church. You do not need to be a church member to join. Great daycare while mom's get to socialize and get some great information on interesting topics.
