Looking for a Personalized Teacher Gift to Buy Locally

Last year I ordered a personalized flower pot for my daughter's teacher from personalizationmall.com and her teacher loved it. I would like to buy a personalized gift for her teacher this year but would prefer to purchase it locally. Does anyone have any cute boutiques that they buy teacher gifts from? I've done the personalized note pads, cards and pens and would prefer to get something unique that they haven't gotten from 101 students before!

Thanks in advance for your help!

Kmart I've seen has some glass plaques and I think one had Teacher on it with a quote/saying on it about a Teacher. I think it was less than $20.00.

Good Luck

Try searching on Etsy.com for local, mom made, unique artistic gifts. I love that site.

I paint scripture and embellish plaques with crosses or other objects if that interests you.

I got my son's teacher a Willow Tree figure (the angel of learning). She loved it. He also painted her a paperweight of a butterfly-they learned about the life-cycle of the caterpillar and had them in the classroom and he particularly enjoyed it.
