Looking for a Pediatrician in the Taylor Area

My current pediatrician is no longer taking my health insurance (BC Network) and has reassigned me to a Dr. Nayak in Taylor. I was wondering if anyone currently taking children to him/her could give me an idea of what he/she is like. Also, I don't have to see Dr. Nayak, so if you love your Pediatrician please feel free to pass the name on :o} Thanks!

What can I do next?

I take my son to see Dr. Nayak and he has been a wonderful doctor. Dr. Bronti also works with him in the same office and she is wonderful as well. I highly recommend both of them.

I have seen him and he is good (always answers the after hours calls too). But dr. bronni who works in the same office is the best pediatrician I have ever seen! She is always very thorough and is great with the kids! I would not recommend anyone else! They usually just pull whatever chart is next but you can actually request to see dr. bronni when you get there. Hope you love them as much as I do.

I take both my girls to Dr. Nayak's office. I have been happy with the office so far. Dr. Nayak is male and Dr. Bronni (at that office is female). I really like seeing Dr. Bronni the best but you generally get whoever is available though you can request a specific doctor if you want to wait. There is one other doctor there that I don't know too well since she hasn't been there long. They also have a nurse practioner there that is really great with kids and very knowledgeable. I think you would be happy there. The only real downside is their hours since they don't have "late" or "weekend" hours.

I don't know about Dr Nayak, try a visit first to see what you think. I do know that P.A.D. Associates in Dearborn (Dr. Umlauf, Dr. Wilson, and Dr Gaind) are excellent!! They are on Monroe Ave, just above Outer Drive.

I'm an L & D nurse at Wyandotte Hosptial, where Dr. Nayak comes. Alot of staff use him, and Dr. Bronni. My grandson also see them. They are both very nice, and pleasant, from a nurse stand-point. I would deffinitely recommend goin there...easy to find: Northline Rd. just east of I 75, on the south side of the road.

I take my son to Dr Nayak's Office. They are very nice people, all very good with the kids, taking time to chat with them make them more comfortable etc. However, Perhaps it's a personality issue, or just plain me... I prefer seeing Dr Bronni, or the nurse Practitioner. I've not been in for an appointment since the new Dr started there, so I can't attest for them. I just find that Dr Bronni and the RNP, tend to -listen- when you have a concern and discuss things with you a little more in depth. I'm fairly sure my negative few experiences with Dr Nayak himself has to do more with it being an issue between him and I. (my son had severe reflux and he was repeatedly asking/accusing me of feeding him pizza and fast food all the time, even though my son had never had either. It was frustrating, and I'm guessing was due in part to me being overweight and assumptions that go along with that.)

LOVE their staff though.. I suggest getting there about 10 minutes or so -before- your appointment time, or you might be in for a long wait before getting into a room.

I take my son to see Dr. Saba Cossor in Southgate on Trenton Rd. & Eureka (Child and Adolescent Center). Depending on where in Taylor your live that may be an option for you. Dr. Cossor is a young woman who is GREAT with my 4 yr. old son. She works out of Oakwood Dearborn and Henry Ford Wyandotte hospitals.
