I recently moved to Galt, CA from L.A. and am having a really hard time finding a pediatrician. Can anyone recommend one? We have a Cigna PPO not Kaiser. Seems like most everyone that I've talked to has Kaiser. I am looking for a place that has a well side and a sick side in the waiting room if possible. Thanks for your time!!

Sutter Medical Pediatrics on Laguna Blvd and Big Horn. They have a team of pediatricians. There office is very nice. I am familiar with Dr. Vu, but I don't know if she is excepting new patients. But I'm sure other doctors in the group are great too. The number is ###-###-####. You can use Sutter Medical Hosptial or Sutter General for your hospital.

You are not out there by yourself. There is a great family practice in Elk Grove, and the doctor is a woman, mother, and all around great person and good at her profession. Feel free to call them and check them out. I don't know what kind of insurance they take but you could find out easily with a phone call.

We have a fantastic Pediatrician we have seen for 10 years. He has a well child - "under the weather" sides of the room. And we are always able to get in quickly when we need too. I use Dr. Sherman with Sutter Pediatrics in Elk Grove -###-###-#### . They are on Laguna Blvd (closer to Hwy 99). My son was born 2 mos. early in July 07 and he has been his pediatrician since birth. Dr. Sherman also has a daughter who is 2-1/2 so he speaks from experience at times....
