I too am on Medicaid and go to Complete Children's Health on 27th and Superior. Dr. Bargen is the pediatrician for both of my girls and we absolutely love her! Good luck!
I am on Medicaid and have a very limited number of doctors that are accepting new patients to choose from for my baby. I was wondering if anyone had either heard about or had experiences with any of these doctors and could help me out. Please let me know if you have any info. Thanks!

Hi M.. I believe the doctors on your list are family practice doctors rather than pediatricians. My daughter is on Kids Connection (Medicaid) and she sees Dr. Stacie Bleicher, who is wonderful! ###-###-####). They have recently added Dr. Elizabeth Larson to their practice, so might be taking new patients. Lincoln seems to have quite a few good pediatricians (according to what I have heard moms say!).
I debated for a while on whether to chose a family practice physician or a pediatrician. Am now very thankful to have a pediatrician with years of experience behind her!
I was covered by Medicaid until two months after my daughter was born. Have no insurance now and see Dr. Paulus at the Peoples Health Center. They have a sliding fee according to income. Am very pleased with them as well.
I am a single 'old' mom (44) of a 2 year old girl. Seems like she was a baby just yesterday! Being a mom is such a joy and a challenge at the same time! Feel free to email if you like. In the past two years, I have come across resources for 'poor folk' that I did not know existed in Lincoln, as well as moms support groups.

M. - I don't know if they take Medicaid but you could try Complete Children's Health ###-###-####)...they're a great group of doctors and have more than one location in town.
I know you said you're not in a relationship...do you have a support system? If not and you need someone to talk to, please let me know...I was in your shoes just one year ago...my daughter was born Apr. 20, 2006. It's not easy and sometimes just downright hard as hell, but it is so worth it when you have those special times with your baby! Hang in there!
Good luck on the DR search!
I don't know much about the above but I love my pedi Dr. Niazi.
