My son is 4 years old and is really scared of going to the dentist so I was hoping that if i took him to a pediatric dentist it would be les traumatic. We are in the far east valley near Elliot and Signal Butte.

I take my son to the Pediatric Dental Specialists on Guadalupe and Greenfield. (across from the library) We see Dr. Ball, but they have I think 5 or 6 different Dr.'s in the office, my son was 3 when he started seeing Dr. Ball and he is 7 now, we really like him and he is great with the kids. The last time that we were in he checked my daughters teeth (she is 2) just to make sure that everything is ok in her mouth, I didn't even expect this so that was a nice surprise, my son really likes Dr. Ball and the staff. PLUS, they have a play area right outside the office ( little park - slide and all) so while my son is inside with the Dentist I can take my daughter outside to play and inside they have the waiting area to look like a train and they have a Thomas the Tank Engine table for the kids to play with while they are waiting for their appointment and they show kids movies as well. And I know with your son being so young you would want to go back to the exam room with him and they are perfectly fine with that, it is a very relaxed situation,they really make you feel comfortable! Dr. Ball his number is ###-###-#### he is the best as far as i am concerned my son had a bad experience at a dentist so i searched hi and low for a great dentist. the entire office is great and the kids love to go there. there is a train in the office that runs around the ceiling area and lots of toys.
I would highly suggest Dr. Brett Quackenbush in Gilbert. My son had a terrible time at the dentist when he was younger - but this office and staff is wonderful! Good Luck!
