I am looking for a place to host a bday party for my son in the collin county area, any ideas of great places. Would have loved to do a park, but it will be cold in November I just want him to have fun, there are going to be kids his age and some older also.

Pump it up Jr on Park and Los Rios is a great location. Its really fun for the little ones to explore and for kids a bit older also. You could just schedule play time there or let them do your birthday party and its great. They serve cake and do all the clean up :)

There is a new shopping center in Allen called the village at Allen and they have a red caboose that you can rent for parties and there is a cute little outdoor play area and park. It looks really cute and low key for a 1 year old, we are planning to use it for our son's 1st birthday party in December.
Hi T. - don't worry about finding a place for him. At one, they don't understand or care that it's their birthday - even 2 isn't that big a deal, but the cake goes over better :) Find a place that works for you and is easy for you! The party is really for the parents to celebrate and the family to gather. If your house isn't big enough to gather, maybe a friend or family member with a nice yard so you can enjoy the weather if it's nice. Enjoy!
I would do the park, but if you're worried about the weather, look into Pump It Up, Jr.in East Plano. I had my daughter's birthday there and it is for kids 0-6. They were great!
