Hi I was just wondering how far you are from St. Charles??? I live off of Randall road.
I am due to deliver my son in a week or so and was wondering about what agencies anyone would recommend through good experience. I live in Streamwood and have a husband that travels and would need help one/two days per week. Thanks for any advice!

Hi, I run a home-day care and currently only have pt children. I've worked in a day care center before and have 15 years experience taking care of children of all ages. (Birth-14). I'm a 30 year old mother of two and live in Bartlett, if you still need help, please contact me at ____@____.com. I also have references if you need.

Hi K.,
I am not aware of any in-house nannys. However, my mother-in-law watches my 8 month old daughter part-time and is looking to care for another child.
If you are unable to find a nanny and decide you might be interested in a fun, loving, extremely energetic grandmother of 8, please do not hesitate to contact me at ____@____.com-My mother lives in Streamwood as well. Right off Park and Irving Park.
Good luck in your search.

Hi K.:
gee.. I wish I lived a bit closer to you..I'm sure you have your little one now.. congratulations! I live in Cary.. I am an early childhood teacher..(ten plus years..)hold my liberal arts degree from NIU...I'm a mom of three older kids.. (high school and college.. ) and a part-time nanny..My husband and I live in Cary. I watch 3 children in Algonquin.. 3 afternoons a week.. ages 3 and a half months.. 2 and 3 and a half.. I will be working m-f morning this fall at my preschool in Barrington in the 2's program.. and have been asked to work for this family one afternoon a week in the fall.. the little girl was in my class..
right now it may be possible for me to help you out 1 day a week..just for the summer..I don't know what your needs are.. I am concerned about the drive and gas prices.. YIKES!
anyway.. just for your information...
I researched rates for nannies after I was approached to work for the family in Algonquin.. and I called teachercare..and lakeshore nannies.. you can google them for more information.. teachercare is based in Schaumburg and I was told that part-time nannies were paid $12-14 a hour and full time were paid $14-18.. employees of teachercare are teachers or have some sort of education background.. I found that impressive and was going to apply there but at the time they were only looking for full time nannies. I wasn't interested in that. As a footnote... I nursed all three of my children and feel that is such an excellent start to give your child.. it takes dedication though.. and rest.. and drinking plenty of water.. you need to be good to yourself!
and the mom I work for also nurses but the baby.. (he is 3 and a half months old now) will take a bottle when she wants to run out.. sometimes she stays home when I come and other times she runs out to do errands..she got a massage the other day and was so renewed and refreshed.. I think it is wonderful.. it helps her feel better about being a mom and nurturing herself.. moms nurture everyone else so much that often times forget about themselves!
What sort of help are you looking for? Perhaps you have found someone already.. if you just want to chat or anything.. you are welcome to write me back.. otherwise if I don't hear from you.. I wish you best of luck with your precious one! Take care! Pam
