I am currently going to the office at Johns Creek that is affiliated with Northside but not really happy. I am looking for an office that has a little more individual attention but is also affiliated with Northside Hospital. I live in the Suwanee area and don't want to drive too far.

Hi! I love Roswell OB/GYN. I used to go to their Dunwoody location, but now I go to their Alpharetta one. I believe they either have a Cumming or Suwanee office also. They work at Northside Hospital, where I had both my babies. ###-###-####. All are great, but I love Dr. Robbins. Take care!

Yikes! I just made an appointment at John's Creek Ob/gyn P.C. based on 3 positive referrals after my own doctor had to relocate. I have an appt. scheduled for July--can you tell me more specifically what your experience has been with them? My appt. is scheduled with Dr. Parker.
Thanks!

Hi
When I was pregnant with my son, who is now 3yrs old, I saw physicians at the OB-GYN of Atlanta practice in Suwanee. This may be the same group you are currently seeing. I became dissatisfied with the physician's because they came across as though they didn't have time or interest is answering my questions about my pregnancy. This was especially disheartening because it was my first pregnancy at age 40.

But I learned about the Nurse Midwives that they have on staff. They are fully certified, licensed and highly trained. I saw several during my pregnancy, but all were very helpful and interested in making sure that my needs and questions were addressed. I felt they really took an interest in me, my husband and our baby. Their work is also reviewed by the MD's so you get the benefit their knowledge as well.

We decided to have a Nurse Midwife designated to attend to us during the labor and delivery at the hospital instead of an MD, although there is always an MD on duty and at the Midwives disposal for consultations. The midwife is able to spend a lot more one-on-one time with you than the physician. They were truely wonderful during the labor and the midwife actually delivered my son.

I continue to see a midwife, Libby Powell, at the Suwanee location for my routine GYN visits and she is just wonderful.

I hope this helps...and congratulations on your little one!
