My daughter, 14, has been in dance since she was 4. She has enjoyed. The last several years she has been at a very serious dance studio, for those considering movnig into it professionally. She has found she is not having fun anymore. We would like to find a new dance studio for her where she can do several types of dance, enjoy friendships, keep fit, and have fun.

What can I do next?

My daughter goes to Step Dance Studio in Rowlett. We've liked it a lot. :)

I would like to recommend Dance Depot in Plano. The owner Mary Ann Morrow is fantastic. and easy-going. I cannot say enough good things about this studio, they are not quite as strict as some studios and the staff is a lot of fun. You can check out the website dancedepot.net.

We like Raising the Barre in Frisco on Main St. It's a Christian dance studio so the girls outfits are a little more modest than others. They are hard to reach but worth it.

Arabesque in Richardson is challenging yet fun. They offer ballet, tap, jazz and other dance forms.
