Looking to buy a wedding ring for my soon to be hubby and also somewhere that can be reliable for cleaning, fixing, resizing, etc. I know that there are tons of places and yes I have looked around and been to a few, but I want to know if you ladies have had a really great experience at a certain place, or just the opposite so I know who to avoid ! Thanks in advance.

What can I do next?

I really like Dunkin Diamonds.... of course I believe they only have a few stores in OH and FL (I believe Ft Meyers area). They were extremely helpful and great to work with. Cleanings are always free... you just have to stop by the store, and the first resizing is free.
When we were looking at wedding rings my husband (now) told them pretty much what he wanted b/c he's an electrician & didn't want something that was going to get scratched & look battered easily. They had several recommendations & highly suggested platinum or titanium for scratch resistance. They weren't pushy for the higher sale at all. He found a titanium one that he liked, which as two tone (it was shiny on both outer edges & had a divet in the center that had a flat/dull finish) but he said that he would prefer it was the opposite... flat finish on outsides & shiny in center divet. They in my opinion went above & beyond what othe jewelers were willing to do for us.... they special ordered one in exactly how he wanted it for no extra charge & had it in the store within a week for us to pick up!! Three and a half years later and it still looks as good as it did the day we got married! :)
They have also went above and beyond what other jewelry stores would do for us when it came to my "mothers" ring that I got last year. I didn't like the everyday mothers rings & they worked with me with another setting that I saw and liked to custom create a mothers ring that I absolutely love!
Sorry for the long post... Good luck with finding the perfect ring and congrats on your upcoming wedding!

Oo. Any decent jewelry place will clean and resize your ring. We got our rings at Barney Jette in Missoula, Montana and I love their styles. Check them out on the web. Very unuusal and beautiful, I think.

This may sound odd, but I got my husband's wedding band at costco.com. He wanted a 6mm plain platinum band and they had the best price by far. I know this is not the answer for cleaning etc., but they are worth checking out. Good luck.

Devons is a great place to go for all your jewelery needs. I never had any problems with them. You can take jewelery to them to be fixed even if it wasnt bought from them. Theyll tell you how much itll cost you so theres no hidden fees. Also theyll clean any of your jewelery for free. There diamonds have very good clarity!
