I would like to get the ESSURE procedure done and need a new GYN because my current OBGYN doesn't do them. I did see one doctor and GOSH was he condescending. I felt like he was talking to my husband the whole time about MY care. Sheesh! Anyway, I am looking for a caring doctor, man or woman is okay. Also, I **HATE** a long wait in the waiting room so if you have a doc you could recommend that is caring, with an efficient office, that would be FANTASTIC!!! thank you so much!

What can I do next?

Kerry Neal in Grapevine is good as is Alan Cowen (his partner). Cowen delivered all my kids and Neal assisted (with the c-setions). I just quit going to Cowen this year since it is now a drive from Mansfield for me. I just started going to Mindy Luck. She is actually a personal friend (our daughters were in class together last year), so I thought I'd try her out. Turns out, 3 of my other friends use her, too. We all like her. She is so laid back and I'm pretty sure she'll do the Essure procedure (I know she does ablations). Good luck!

I recommend Dr Mindy Luck at OMEGA OBGYN in Mansfield. The office is off 287 and Walnut Creek. I have known Mindy since high school. I love her. She not only is a great friend, but a great doctor. I am about to meet with her to talk to her about having the ESSURE procedure.

I live in North Ft Worth... but I drive all the way to Mansfield (takes me about an hour to get there) to see Dr Daum, I just love everything about him and his staff, he is very caring, straight forward, and very down to earth. he delivered my first two children, held my hand through my miscarriage, and through some female problems, and would have delivered my third if it weren't for the fact that it was placenta previa, (and he told me I had to see a closer Dr for the safety of me and the baby) he has been my OBGYN for 12 years, and I refuse to give him up. I don't know if he does Essure or not but it is worth asking. You wont regret it, he has offices in the medical building next to the hospital down in Mansfield. if you need contact info let me know.

I know it's not Mansfield or Arlington, but I live in Arlington and go to Dr. Ralph Wiegman in Grand Prairie. He is on Great Southwest Parkway. I've been going to him for almost 17 years, and saw him through both of my pregnancies. Anyway, I was interested in Essure last year, and he was very informative about the procedure and recommends it. He is a caring Christian man with several children of his own, and he is a wonderful listener when it comes to ANYTHING. And I don't think I've ever had to wait in the waiting room for more than a few minutes. Oh, and everyone in his office is great too. I hope you will consider him. I wouldn't go to anyone else.
