Looking for a Good Preschool for 4 Year Old

Can anyone recommend a good preschool in the delray, boyton, boca area? My son just turned 4 last weekend and I just started working from home. I would like to put him in a school with a good curriculum. Unfortunately, being that he just turned 4, he is not eligible for VPK, because he had to be 4 by Sept 1.

I live in delray & do not want to go any futher south than Yamato/Glades or further north than Old Boynton Beach BLvd or further west than Jog Rd.

If any one has any recommendations I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks
K.

I had my son in pre-K at Children's Learning Center, off Clint Moore Rd, east of Military Trail in Boca.
It is a Montessori program that encourages hands on learning as well as more traditional methods. I really liked the teachers there; very well-trained and low staff turnover.

I love my son's preschool, The Learning Center. All the teachers have a degree (education, early childhood, even child psychology!) and there is a great (shaded) outdoor play area. It is right off Glades. They have a website, so you could check it out. Let me tell you, my son doesn't even care when I leave. It makes me so happy to let him have so much fun and to know they are taking great care of him. I know they do have a focused curriculum, but honestly at my son's age (1) I wasn't too worried about that. They discuss it on their website. Also, they do offer part time care at reasonable rates!

I believe that Spanish River High School has a daycare on site, you may want to look into that. I know Royal Palm Elementary school has open entry into their PreK program (but it's on Lawrence Rd, just north of Hypoluxo.)
These both would be extremely affordable options.
I have my children enrolled at Imagination Station, but it's on Military and Melaleuca... quite a bit further north than you wanted to travel.

My 3-year-old loves attending KidStop, and his teachers there are wonderful. It's on Gateway, which is just north of Old Boynton, but it's right off I-95 so it's very convenient. There are other KidStops around, so there might be one closer to you.

Hi K.

I had my son in Little Friends Learning Center on Military and Linton since he was 13 months. They are not VPK but are considered a Pre-K for the 4 & 5 yr olds.
I'm not sure if they have availability, but I know for us, it was the best thing we did for our little man. The teachers, director and asst director are VERY special people!
If you have any questions or need any other information about them, feel free to email me
