I go to the Target in Monroeville and have for the most part been very happy. The pictures are always super cute, but they can be running very behind-- especially at this time of year.

Make sure you get the coupons (online, or just about anywhere) because otherwise it is EXTREMELY expensive. If you have the coupons, they will figure out what is the cheapest deal for you.

S., I have 4 kids so i know how tough it is to get good pics at any age. I live in the South Hills of Pittsburgh but travel to the Target in Robinson. I have gone other places but the staff at this Target are INCREDIBLE. I have never seen such a wonderful group of people. The pictures I have gotten done the last few times have been awesome. Give them a try. You can find coupons online. They only take two weeks to come back. I just picked mine up last week and people are raving about them. Good luck.

I used Melissa Distel www.melissadistel.com for pictures for our family. She was great and comes to your house or a location you agree on. We picked the park and absolutely love the pictures. The sitting fee was reasonable (depends on what type of pictures you want, prices listed on her site) and the pictures are great. You do get one picture included in the sitting fee. Check out her work it was really easy to schedule and she was very sweet just catching my daughter being herself. Good luck.

The absolutely BEST photographer I have EVER worked with in 20 years: www.rivetingedge.com. Her name is Darla and I reviewed her on Mamasource. If you would like, PM me and I will give you my name and we can link through Facebook and you can see all of the pics she has taken of my three kids. My dd got a movie and a ton of modeling work, including an American Greetings card and billboard booked directly from a picture that Darla took. Also, DARLA WILL COME TO YOU!! She brings everything with her (including backdrops and props), so you can do a shoot in the comfort of your own home without having to drag your kids to an uncomfortable studio (full of the germs of a thousand other kids). Darla has three kids herself, so she is great with children (mine LOVE her and cry when she leaves). Her prices are also VERY reasonable. PLEASE check her out...you will not be disappointed! I swear she is the next Ann Geddes (Darla's style is comparable, but I think even better)!

I've always gone to JCPenney in the Pittsburgh Mills (they are SO wonderful with my kids), but if you want to spend for really professional photos try Amanda Wilson - $60 sitting fee for 2 hours and the cost of the photos is really reasonable.
