I just moved to Windsor from Michigan this month and I am looking for a pediatrician for my 3 1/2 month old. We are looking for a doc who is relaxed with the vaccination schedule. Baby has not had any vaccinations thus far. She also has some medical problems and needs a doc who will work with specialist like pediatric surgeons etc... Any help would be appreciated. We are willing to drive to docs in the area not just Windsor.

What can I do next?

Hi S.-
WElcome to Colorado! I am also from Michigan...so hope you love it here! I would recommend the Ft. Collins Youth Clinic..They have several good pediatricians there, our Dr. is Carole Anderson, but I didn't know if you were looking for something closer to Windsor! good luck... give me a email sometime and I can show you around!

S.,

I have heard great things about Dr. Tony Mason in Windsor. He is very supportive of delayed and minimal vaccinations. I don't know what his network of specialist support looks like, but you can always ask for a "getting to know you" appointment and sit down to chat with him.

Best of luck,
S.

Hi S.! Welcome to Windsor :) We use Dr. Joseph Ryan in Greeley. It's not a far drive as he is off of 10th (Business Route of 34) and 59th Ave. He has been very lax with my son's vaccination schedule. I don't give my son all of the vaccinations and I don't give them all at once. He gets one and three weeks later gets another, etc. Their number is ###-###-#### Hope that helps! :) A.

Dr. Andrea Mead at Loveland Pediatrics in the Big Thompson Medical Group is AMAZING!!! The office is just down 34 off of I-25 so the drive wouldn't be too bad. I have been taking my son there since he was 6 weeks old and he is now 13 months. She is patient, understanding, kind, and, of course, GREAT with kids. She also is understanding and flexible with vaccinations! So far, I have not had any vaccinations for my son. She never pressures me or acts as if I am making a bad decision. We had a nice, long talk regarding this issue when I first started seeing her. She gave me her thoughts and I gave her mine. We agreed to disagree on vaccinations and that was that.
WELCOME TO COLORADO!!!

A. :)

I like Loveland Pediatrics. All of the doctors are great but if you want more info on specific doctors at that practice, you can email me!

Hi Stacy,
My husband and I have been with Dr Tony Mason at Windsor Family clinic (at the I-25 exit) for a few years now. We just had our first baby 4 weeks ago and he has been fantastic with his care and willingness to help in anyway (he came to the hospital twice over the weekend just to check in and make sure the baby was doing well). He is very supportive of delayed immunizations and open to trying some alternative options if the need ever arises. We have not had any need to work with specialists through Dr Mason but know of a few practitioners around northern colorado who recommend him so we know the contact is there. If you have any questions or want to chat more about his care, please feel free to email me at: ____@____.com
Welcome to Windsor!!
