I suggest you interview a pediatrician, just like you would any Dr. I met with my daughters pediatrician when I was 30 wks pregnant. Her name is Katherine Keeley and she is wonderful. There are actually 4 Dr total in the practice and they have 2 offices. Their number is ###-###-####. She is very gentle, calm and low toned. My daughter loves her and never is afraid to see her. She wants to see her Dr when only has a cut on her. Good luck.

Hey girl, I take both of my kids to Dr. Fleener. I go there because her office staff are always so nice and the doctors seem to always nail the problem as soon as I go there. I hope this helps. Also there hours are great for working parents. They are open on Saturdays too. D.

I go to Dr. Fuchs in Sarasota and he is great! He is a pediatrician and an allergist so if you baby does have any allergies he is already there. My son Ethan just loves him and he is very laid back. Here is his information:

I would call the Dr. you choose and meet with them. You will need one before you leave the hospital and if you deliver in Sarasota he is sometimes on call in the maternity ward for the newborns.

Dr Downing is a pediatrician right in University Sarasota Memorial Care Center . Dr Downing is my daughter's doctor, he is very good.
