I take my 6 month old to Dr. Nave of the Pediatrics Associates of Savannah group. He also has an office in Pooler. He is a caring, attentive Doctor. The number is ###-###-####.

A.,
We use Dr. Ramon Ramos for our daughter. He's more of a natural doctor... not into giving kids antibiotics unless they absolutely need them, etc. But my 26 month old daughter had meningitis when she was 9 months old and he did an excellent job with her while in the hospital, too. He came to see her every day and we agreed with and appreciated all of his advise. Just a referral, although I have also heard Dr. Daniels is great, too.

A.,
I take my two sons ages 2 and 5 to Southcoast Pediatrics in Richmond Hill.
We see Dr. Elam. He is great with my kids (my youngest was terrified of doctors after having tubes and adnoidectomy at age 1)and eases their anxiety and lets them know everything he will be doing. They do follow-up phone calls after an illness or when medication is perscribed (he does not over perscribe).
Their waiting room is divided for well visits and sick visits.

Good luck.

I also take my son to Pediatric Associates of Savannah. My son's ped is Dr. Ben Spitalnick. I highly recommend him. Actually, I have referred 5 friends to him who have been extermely pleased. The thing I love the most is that I do not feel rushed when he his in the room. He takes his time whether it's a well visit or a sick visit. After meeting him once you can definitely tell peds is the right profession for him. The only downside is that Dr. Ben is not at the Pooler office often; however, he is such a great doctor I do not mind driving the 15-20 mintues to the Waters office.

Another enthusiastic vote for Dr Ramon Ramos. OUr son has a congenital hand defect, and within a week of our first appointment with Dr Ramos, we had an appointment with the top pediatric hand specialist in the state.

Hi A., I'm a nurse and I won't way where I work, but I have met most of the peds. Pediatric Associates is by far the most available practice in the area. They are open 365 days a year and most all of their physicians are excellent. It's not a matter of whether they are all good but what personality type you want. Dr. Shelley is my personal favorite. Sometimes, I think he may be able to walk on water! They also have locations in Pooler, Wilmington Island and Midtown.
