Looking for a Good OBGYN

When I was pregnant, I went to a women in Avon. I know you live in Lakewood, but this doctor's office was really easy to get to. It is located right off of Interstate 90. The doctor's name is Dr. R. Stark. She has 5 children of her own and only recommended tests/eating habits/sleeping habits, etc. that she had done in the past. Her phone # is ###-###-####. Good luck.

I'm going to second what Elizabeth already said. How about a midwife? You will have a much nicer birth experience and be able to make your own choices. Colleen is the one I would recommend as well. She's great!

Hi R., I have an almost 2 year old little boy and when I was pregnant I went to Dr. Ekman in Lakewood right behind Lakewood hospital. She and the midwives there were fantastic. I also saw the Lakewood Midwives at the number listed above. I switched to them in my seventh month after seeing a traditional OB/GYN for those first seven months.

I couldn't even begin to say how wonderful they are and I recommend them to everyone I know. Ecspecially for your first pregnancy - they will sit and talk with you at your monthly appt. for as long as you want and answer any question you have. This was VERY comforting after being with an OB/GYN for so long!
