Dr. Alexandra Chrysanthis has an office in Los Alamitos (across from the hospital on Cherry St) but I think will also go to Long Beach Memorial. Very thorough, and will refer out when appropriate.
I'm wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a good Internal Medicine doctor in the Long Beach area? I seem to have developed an Arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat) that I thought was associated to my Birth Control Pill. I stopped taking the Pill in January and my Arrhythmia seemed to have disappeared until Friday night. I have an appointment in May to see my OB/GYN, but am thinking I should see someone other than her for my heart. Any recommendations are appreciated!

my doctor is great, her name is Olga Ginzburg, and her office is the corners of Downey and South Streets. I believe she is in I.M. doctor, but I go to her for various things. Her number is ###-###-####. It's a little hard to get an appointment with her, but she's great!
J.,
Good for you for being proactive... if it doesn't seem right you need to demand tests! I recently had a intestinal parasite and my doctor just wasn't meeting my needs. My husband convinced me to go to his doctor and I thought he and his nurse were terrific.
Dr. De Jong on 4th & Redondo in Long Beach.

We love Dr. John Millane on spring and Palo Verde. My hubby was having heart issues, was referred to Dr. Tobias and he literlly saved his life. Good Luck, J.
In this case, you should not go to an internal medicine doctor, but a cardiologist. James Licht is excellent and works out of Memorial. If you are lucky, it is just a virus, but it is serious and you don't fool around with stuff like this.
Hi J.,
I live in Naples and I have always gone to the Seal Beach Medical Group - they have a great set of doctors. My particular favorites are Dr. Howard Bland and Dr. Elmo Agatep. Both are concerned with the needs of the patient.
