Hi! I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good family doctor in the Flower Mound /Lewisville / Grapevine area? I am not looking for a pediatrician, but rather a doctor for Mommy and Daddy. :)

I would greatly appreciate any advice. I need to find a good doctor soon.

Thank you so much,

L.

I really like Dr. Jack Johnson in Lewisville. He's located in the medical building next to the hospital. He is very friendly and easygoing, and he has been able to diagnose things that no one else could figure out.

I used to live in Lewisville, but now live in Keller/N. Ft. Worth, and still make the drive to see Dr. Johnson.

Good luck!

I highly recommend Dr. Emmanuel F. Desai in Lewisville. His office is off of Cowan and Main Street a few blocks down from the hospital. He also rounds at the Hospital, which has been a comfort for me for if I ever have a problem, then I know he can come see me there too. (I'm having jaw surgery in a few months, and it's nice to know that I can call his office if I'm having problems with any of the staff.)

He is Internal Medicine, so he not only treats the colds, flus, and yearly checkups, but he is also very knowledgable about high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, intestinal issues, etc. He does stress tests and echos in the office, which is nice.

My parents see him too, and they've been really happy there as well.

He also has two really nice PAs. I've only seen Nhan, but she is pregnant and due in September and I'm sure will be taking a maternity leave. I have talked to Missy (the other PA) before in the hall, and I was really impressed with how friendly and knowledgeable both are.

His phone number is ###-###-#### and his address is:

Dr. Emmanuel F. Desai
125 N. Cowan, St. 102
Lewisville, TX 75057

I hope that helps!

We like the doctors at Max Health on Glade Road in Colleyville (border of Grapevine and Colleyville). THeir phone number is ###-###-####. They have walk-ins as well as appointments and give you a computer printout prescription so the pharmacy can actually read it! In my family, we don't use them much because we have found a way keep our immune systems strong naturally. Yet things do come up from time to time and it's a good place to go if needed.

Hope this helps!
