I used to see Dr. Wendy Holden-Parker at woman's before my husband switched insurance. I found out that she wasn't on the new insurance after I had just learned that I was pregnant after I had been with the same doctor for years to create the comfort level for when I was ready to have a baby. Needless to say I was not happy. But anyhoo...I started going to Dr. Debra Baehr, also at woman's, and she was great. (as far a gyno can be great :) ) The really great thing about switching to the new doctor was that it does not take months to get in to see her and usually the appointments run on time. With the former doctor, she's in what's commonly known as the Supergroup and they're are really busy. Regular yearly appts. needed to be made at least 3 months in advance and I had been left in the waiting room for at least 3 hours. I happen to prefer a woman ob/gyn, I just feel more comfortable with someone who shares the same parts as me. So if you're looking for a man I have no references. Hope this helps.

I would recommend Dr. Lisa Gautreau. She is at Woman's Hospital, in the Physician's Tower. The group is called "The Women's Clinic". It is on the 6th floor, Suite 620. The phone number is ###-###-####. She's a younger doctor, probably in her mid 30's, which makes her real comfortable to talk to, especially when I was pregnant. It's just like talking with a friend of mine... not a doctor. Very personable. She has like 5 or 6 other docs she works with. They have a small lab setup in their clinic (they draw blood, test urine, etc), and they also have an Ultrasound lady in the clinic. It's like a one-stop shop.

Kathy Guidry and Ann Lafranca are both really good. They are in the group at Woman's Hospital along with all of the Dr. Schwartzenburgs (who are also very good). The phone number to their clinic is 225*928*5951. It may take a while to get an appointment tho unless you have a pressing issue.
