I am looking for a carrot recipe for Thanksgiving. Something everyone will love. I have had them with bacon before that were delicious and I also like the cheesy carrots. Something good, easy and crowd pleasing. Low Cal is great but not necessary

We like steamed carrots with brown sugar and butter. They are a great alternative to yams, not that we need one, we could eat yams every day.
Another fun recipe that my mom makes is orange jellow with shredded carrots. She makes it in a mold and serves it with mayonnaise. Sounds really strange, but it's surprisingly good. You can use low-cal mayo.
I hope you get some great suggestions!
I like this one, I've made it for Thanksgiving and get requests for it from time to time

Look for a recipe for Copper Pennies. It's really good. A little different and very enjoyable.
Just saw a recipe from Alton Brown on Food Network website for glazed carrots that sounded good - they are cooked in ginger ale and have a little chili powder for heat. Just go on their website if you're interested - I think I'm going to bring that to my SIL's for Thanksgiving.
The Moosewood Cookbook has a fantastic recipe for a Carrot Mushroom Loaf. I get raves every time I make it.
Girl, this is so funny! One year I decided to do carrots, I'm a VERY simple cook. I steamed them and right before serving squeezed honey over them with some butter and salt and pepper. Everyone LOVED them and wanted the recipe. When I told them they all laughed! I hope you find something that will work for you!
