Colleen of Colleen's Cleaning Machine out of Matteson has started her own home cleaning service. She does a great job and is reasonably priced. She actually cleaned our house before she officially began her business, and did a fantastic job with it all the while watching our triplets and her child at the same time. She pays great attention to details and being a mother herself is aware of how to work both with and around kids. She uses non-toxic cleaners, which is very reassuring to me with kids in the house. She is willing to travel to Plainfield. She's like a superwoman. I trust her implicitly and highly recommend her. Hi T.! My cleaning duo is a husband and wife team. They have been cleaning my parent's house for over 18 years (in Highland Park) and just started coming to my house (in Naperville) about 3years ago when I had my second child. They come twice a month- Tuesdays from 9am-11:30am and do just about anything you could ask. Mirek (the husband) is also a handy man and attached the tarp on the kid's house of the playground outside, fixed a lamp that didn't work and he also put in a new screen on my back door! I found mine on here and have been delightfully suprised after using four different services before. These are the first ones that will get down on their hands and knees and scrub our floors. And they are by far the cheapest of all other services- and my house is twice as big.

I've used 'Maids on Time' in the past and was very happy with the cleaning people they sent - they will assign you one team (usually of 2), so it's not always different people like some services. They have been Plainfield-based for a long time, number is ###-###-#### (mention ad in the Enterprise newspaper for $10 off first clean).

I prefer a service personally because if there is something you're not happy with they communicate for you to the cleaning person, which can sometimes be a little awkward to do yourself. Also, they are insured - if anything is accidentally broken etc (which never happened to me) that's taken care of.
