Lookin for a Playgroup. . .

I have an 18 month old little girl, Skyler, and I am hoping to get her a lil more socialized. She is not in daycare, therefore she doesn't get much chance to socialize. In the few times she has gotten to play with other children her age, she is quite mean - and I don't want her to develop those habits. I hope someone can help me out here, it would be much appreciated!!! Thanx!!

What can I do next?

If you go to www.meetup.com there is a great playgroup called KAMPP-Kids And Moms of Pikes Peak/C.S. Playgroup and More. I was a part of this when my kids were younger. It is a great group of people and they do things all over Colo Spngs.

Hey K.!
It depends where you live, but I recommend you local library. Check it out! I think most of them have a toddler time made just for kids to go a listen and then afterwards go to the book area a play. I moved here in October and have two little girls (one 3 1/2 and one 19 months) and we would go to the Library and not only did they make friends but me too. If you live NW you can go to the Rockrimmon branch and they met on Wednesdays at 10, 10:35 , and 10:55! If that doesn't work email me and I'll to help you out more. Good luck

Hi K.,
I have a boy who just turned two. He too is not in daycare, but mostly with me or with my grandparents when I am at work, so interaction with kids is pretty much limited. If you want to get together and let the kids play that would be great. My son was the same way too, stingy with toys and not happy about sharing, but the more I have put him with other kids, the more he is learning, he doesn't mind sharing now. Skyler will grow out of it too, once she gets around other kids more. What part of town are you in?
