Hi E.,
I don't know that there's a magic weight or age, but it does seem that a bigger baby has a bigger tummy, therefore can be full for longer. However, it's not only hunger that will wake up a babe - it could be teething, a wet diaper, a mosquito biting her, an itchy nose, any number of things! And no way to magically know what, until they have language enough to tell you.
We didn't expect baby to sleep through the night at any given age, and we breastfed through the night, with both of us sleeping while feeding. That was our "magic trick"! She slept through the night on her own time without any pushing from us by 16-18 months old.
