I'm looking for a salon that participates in the Locks of Love program. The website doesn't list the salons anymore and I am kinda new to the area so I'm not real familiar with who does this. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

What can I do next?

Hi R.,
I am s SAHM of 2 DD, we also in N. Fort Worth and have been in the area for 2 years. I myself have donated to LOL a few times over the years. I actually donated directly to LOL via there website "Donate/ Volunteer" page: try the link below.

Hi- I donated my hair to Locks of Love through Old World Salon in Southlake (in the strip mall on the corner of Davis and 1709). There was only one stylist there who participated, but if you call I am sure they can tell you her name. Good luck!

Hi R..

I think it is so great that you are donating your hair! I have donated twice in the past 3 years, so I have been on the website many times in the past. The one salon I remember is the Ulta Salon. There are many locations (www.ulta.com), but I think they only cut for LOL during particular days and times. Good luck!

I took my daughter to sweet and Sassy at Southlake Town center. It is a cutesy upscale salon that kids love! They made the reccomendation to send her hair to Locks of love and printed off a form for me. And to my surprise the haircut was free of charge!

You can just mail it in yourself- just go to any hair salon and have them cut 11 inches (or however much more than that). When we did mine, we put several small ponytails around my head so that there wouldn't be as much hair lost. Then we put one pony around all of them and I mailed them in. I would take ponytail holders and a measuring device wherever you go, just in case. Let me know if you have any other questions.
