Lo Loestrin Birth Control Pill

Anyone have any experience with this particular bc pill? I recently started it, almost 1 week ago. The main reason I started it was because I have been having hormonal headaches, 1 day before starting my period. I am a bit paranoid taking the pills (or any meds for that matter- so I just won't read the side effects lol). I am wondering if anyone has had relief of hormonal headaches when taking this pill, as I hear it can help or make things worse. Thanks

What can I do next?

Slight TMI warning.
I'm prescribed to LoLoestrin too, and have been on it for the last nearly 1.5 yrs. I find it OK, it helps keep my periods to a very minimal flow, and mine get over in 2 days (Happy me...yeah!), and the whole cycle works like clock-work. No surprises.
I used to get headaches and stomach cramps and my legs and back used to ache badly before and during first day of my period. All these symptoms still occur in small proportions, but are much manageable, thanks to the pill.

I know each woman has her own style of symptoms during periods, and I believe no pill can cause them to totally vanish. But you are right, pills work well for some, and not so well for others. Keep at it for at least 2 cycles, and see how your symptoms improve or worsen or don't change.

I have not had any problems on this pill other than a bit of PMS, but I had that before, too. GYN says it's one of the least problematic with regard to mood swings and such.

I started this pill lst wed. I have had a headache for the last week. But i think its because of stress. TOday i've been really sick to my stomach too, ws wondering if it was the pill. I'm still breastfeeding so i worry about that too, but they said the estrogen was really low in it that the baby should be ok. I got really sick on the minipill so they put me on this.
