My little one had the same problem, we took her to a Kinesiologist and found that she has reactions to cow's milk. As long as we limit her intake, the bumps disappear. When she over does it though, they do come back.
My 3 y\o daughter has been getting these little bumps all over her arms and legs. They go away in about 2 days, but I was wondering if any of you moms had any idea of what they might be. I know they are not chicken pox, because they are not red or itchy. They are the same color of her skin, and very small, but they annoy her.

Nikky, do they bumps look like "chicken skin"? My son was diagnosed with Keratosis Pilaris when he was younger (he had had excema too, so it just went with his sensitive skin). My ped suggested Keri lotion, as it wasn't severe. It wet away on its own.
Having said that, if it really bothers you, go to the ped and get it checked out.
Hi N., You might look at what you are using to wash your daughter and also the laundry cleaner that you are using that can be causing the irritation.
63% of what touches skin absorbs into the skin. Example : medications for heart, seasickness, hormones, etc. Everything put on the skin must be used, eliminated or stored.
I have consulted in a natural skin care business for 28years and witness miracle turnarounds when using natural nutritional ingredients instead of chemicals that are in most of over the counter products sold today.
Become a label reader and research what you are using on your child.
Question? Why the tremendous increase in auto immune diseases over the last 50 years???
God Bless, Gladys
There are many types of dermatitis and it is nearly impossible to diagnose or tell you what this could be... I recommend checking in with your ped to be safe. You can always then take an alternative / natural route for treatment when you know what it is.
Good Luck!
they could be a dry skin kind of thing - like a mild form of excema.
Try an oil based lotion if her skin won't react.
She might also have sensitive skin and some sort of fabric (like non-cottons) or laundry detergent or something like that is making her have a reaction.
I have sensitive skin that welts just to itch, but goes away after a few minutes.
ask her doctor to check for allergies, but for now i'd suggest some lotion to calm it down.
Its most likely just eczema it usually comes on when the weather get cold. My daughter got this at 6 months out doc gives us hydrocordizone(spelling?) ointment that works wonders. Make sure not to use lotion with fragrance it makes it worse soaps also. Its no big deal so dont worry just use the ointment and it will be fine. It looks like "goose bumps" like when it get cold and u see the tiny bumps.
It may be eczema. My son has it on his arms, legs, and face. Do they itch? I use Aveno Baby and it seems to sooth it for him.
This might work. My duaghter gets little bumps on her sometimes but its not as much asyou said about your child. I use a little(b/c she's five months) hydrocortizone (Probably spelled it wrong) by aveno in the drug department at your local store. It works very well. But I still would try and take her to the doctor though.
