Yep. I like them. I feel like I'm playing Jeopardy where I get the answers and come up with the question.
I just have to know am I the only one drawn to deleted questions?
I just have to figure out what got their knickers in a twist. :)
Guys just want you to know I am talking about the puzzle of it here. I will drop everything and read a deleted post. They are just fun, you get to make the question anything you want based on the answers.
Yep. I like them. I feel like I'm playing Jeopardy where I get the answers and come up with the question.
One of these days, I think I'm going to answer one with whatever I think the question could have been (regardless of what it was).
"I disagree - I don't think you can iron while the pants are still ON."
Or something like that... :)
sistah!
and if there's former drama referred to on a current thread, i'm helplessly compelled to comb back and seek it out.
terrible.

I'm just glad I can provided a service by reading it and letting everyone else know what it was originally about when I respond :)
That's what you get for trying to dirty delete!
Me too!
My husband checks Mamapedia under my account all the time. Personally, I don't ask questions that I wouldn't discuss with him (aside from that one about a gift for him) so I don't care. In fact, many of the questions come from him. But... if I were to ask a question like the one I assume the recent "deleter" asked- I can see her hesitation to leave it posted like Dawn mentioned.
HOWEVER- pretty sure we all figured out what the question was based on the answers!
Sure, that's cuz now we'll NEVER know what COULDA BEEN!
teehehe
;)
I did that too!
I always delete my inlaw questions though. Makes me too paranoid. :)
Sorry if it was mine, but Im pretty sure you are talking about the one this morning.
Now Im going to be singing that Janet Jackson song all day. Thanks.
I don't think she has her knickers in a twist. She probably doesn't want her SO to stumble across the question and figure out it's about her. It's good that she asked the question - if she's talking to strangers about it and getting their input, then probably she'll let go of the "grass is greener on the other side". It's the ones who don't ask and just jump into the fantasy who I'd be more worried about!!
Cheers!
Dawn
I have deleted a question before. I deleted it because I didn't get my point across clearly and people were getting the wrong idea. However I do read responses from people who have deleted the question.
What gets me is that when people have answered in detail and others can figure it out, the person's SN is still there. And if the person is afraid that their spouse or someone will check their posting history they're (the snooping snoop) presumably intelligent enough to figure out what was deleted by the responses OR they (the snooping snoop) know how to check the computer's cached pages. Deleting questions doesn't mean that it's not still out there somewhere.
LMAO!
You made me laugh so hard.... gawd, just as good as a cup of coffee here in the morning for me... as I rush around to get out the door.
Thanks!
Oh, me too!! I love 'em!
Let me go and search and see what you guys are talking about. I missed it because I was busy working...LOL!
OMGawdyes.
I really do wish there were an actual DELETE option out there for those questions we realize were...regrettable.
I'm with you...I'm very concious not to have real life drama, so I get my kicks here. :)
And thanks for reminding me of that old Janet Jackson song, that was the first thing I thought...Like a moth to a flame, burned by the fire my love is blind, can't you feel my desire?
I don't know.
It wasn't deleted yet when I answered it.
Maybe she got scared her husband/significant other was going to read about how she was thinking about the one that got away every day for over 7 years.
There's just no way that's going to be taken well if you happen to be the guy she's not thinking about.
I'm drawn to them too. I try to figure out what the question was by the responses!
he I am too. I love it, you get to read all of the responses and guess what they asked and then draw the conclusion they asked something really embarassing or they're bratty wives who wanted the answer that they thought was right
