Light Switch Extendors

Not sure if they even exist anymore but I have been looking all over the place for one of these and have had NO luck. For anyone not sure what Im talking about its a thing you put under the faceplate of a light switch with 2 little/short cords or strings that hang down so that a chilld can reach the light and be able to turn the light on or off by themselves. Im starting to think that maybe they got taken off the market because the strings somehow posed a possible problem with kids but Im not sure how because the ones I remember as a child were too small to even wrap around your wrist let alone your neck

Anyway I just thought I would throw the question out there to see - Does anyone happen to know if and where I might be able to buy one of these things

Thanks in advance

What can I do next?

You can get them on Amazon, too, but they're all pretty much the same and they glow in the dark.

I never got around to them with DD and she used a small stepstool when she needed to.

We have this one installed in our bathrooms.http://www.amazon.com/Kidswitch-Light-Switch-Extender-Pac... I love it. My kids stopped bellowing for me to turn on the lights for them after it was installed. I wish it worked on more than the traditional light switches, so I could also put one in my daughter's room.

I am thinking you could just make something with a yardstick and duct tape.
