My son got his Leapster 2 when he was 3, and he was definitely not too young for it! It is still one of his favorite things! :)
Was thiking the educational gaming toys were a bit too old for my 3 yr old twin sons, but wondering if they're worth it? Thoughts on these for 3 yr old boys?

my son played a leapster 2 at the dentist the last time we were there. I think 3 is a great age to introduce them. I'd probably get the explorer it can do so much more then the leapster.
i got my twins leapster when they were two. they're 6 now, and their leapsters are their favorites still. they were able to fully understand and play with them around 3 of age. def. get leapster.
....both my kids, have had their Leapsters since they were 2 years old.
They could, play with it on their own, by themselves, just fine.
It is fun and educational.
My kids love their Leapsters still.... even if they are now 4 and 8 years old.
It is worth it.
I bought my 3 year old the mobigo for Christmas. He really is into playing games on the computer so I thought this would be the perfect age.
My son got his Leapster Explorer for an early birthday present, he'll be 3 in 2 weeks and he loves it! My daughter got one also and she'll be 5 in a week. They both love taking it in the car and playing with it, they sit in the grocery cart @ the store and play with them, even just going in their rooms and playing them. I would deff. recomend them
