I have never heard of this as a sign. Try to relax and enjoy Christmas... it will all be fine : )
Merry Christmas Mamas! I am only 7 weeks pregnant, going to the doctor next week to confirm a heart beat. My breasts aren't actively leaking, but my toddler ran into me before I was hopping into the shower and they became even more tender than they were before. I looked down and noticed a bit of moisture and squeezed a bit. A very small amount of clear liquid came out. I hope this is not a sign of miscarriage. I did breastfeed both of my other boys until they were 2 years old. Any suggestions?
Thank you Moms :) I did produce plenty of milk with my first, used Fenugreek with my second because he wanted to eat constantly, and just finished nursing him exactly one year ago. Thanks for all of your help, and have a Merry Christmas!

This is absolutely not a sign of miscarriage.
If you start to feel intense pain or significant bleeding... then call your Dr.
Women have gotten in car accidents and fallen down flights of stairs and been thrown off horses and not had miscarriages. Relax mama. A toddler running into you would not cause you to miscarry - unless he ran into you and then you fell off the side of the grand canyon... maybe then?????
drink some orange juice, lay on your left side and enjoy Christmas!
some women who have breastfed other children start producing milk and colostrum much earlier in their third and forth pregnancies then the first or second. Especially if the children are very young and just recently stopped BF.
although 7 wks is awfully early. Maybe it's a record or something. just out of curiosity did you produce a lot of milk for you other kids? I myself produce the minimum but I have known other mothers who could produce so much milk that they always had extra to freeze and store a few times a day. I wonder if they are more likely to have this problem.
That sounds normal for someone who had breastfeed recently.
The OB I saw with my first pregnancy told me that she leaked colostrom for three years after she stopped breastfeeding. I'm sure you're fine!
How long ago did you stop breastfeeding? I found that if I squeezed. I could get a bit of clearish liquid out long after I stopped BFing, even before I got pregnant. I'm sure it's not a sign of miscarriage.
