Laundry Dilemma

I have a red and whote striped rugby shirt I am trying to wash. I have washed it in cold water, with OxyClean, with the color sheet that collects the dye. I've tried everything and it still has a pink tint to the white stripes of the shirt. Anyone have any ideas or tricks they can share?

What can I do next?

You can try to just apply the OxyClean or Biz to the white stripes and let it set for a bit.

If the shirt is new and you have the receipt I would take it back to the store if it's a department store type place.

Sometimes they just don't set the dye right when they make the shirt and there's nothing you can really do to prevent it to stop bleeding.

You can try one of the gel cleaners with bleach in it like soft scrub. The gel will stay where you put it. Let it sit then carefully wipe it off and wash.

I think that once it has been through the dryer or some heat, the dye has set - and it probably won't be white again.
