laughing....giggling

the first real laugh, that made all of us laugh til' tears poured was around 3 and a half months. But that developed dramatically to a 5 month old belly laugher. The best thing so far I have ever experienced! Now 7 months old, he has a whole "laugh vocabulary" that he pulls out for each favorite thing..
Gramma's puppy gets a shreiky laugh..
While daddy's goofy antics get a screaming laugh.
The best is his brother making loud fart noises for his entertainment, he thinks this is the best and lughs like a maniac. Guess they know something we don't eh?

my son started giggling at about 4 months. and only when he was sleeping-which freaked me right out-cause I thought it ws gremlins or something (ok sleep depravation does strange things to my brain). he cracks himself up now chasing the dog and head butting her (everyday all day) playing with his buddy milo (cat stuffed animal)

Just wait it'll happen.

I have a granddaughter that is 3 mos old. she has been smiling and laughing out loud for a few weeks now. I thought when she started doing it at 7-8 weeks that it was really early.

THat is such an amazing time. My daughter just turned 1 and I wish I could go back and experience all those firsts all over again. My daughter had her first real smile at about 3-4 weeks. And she started giggling and smiling a bit in her sleep at around 4-5 weeks. I want to say I remember her first out loud giggle at around 6-8 weeks, but i'm not 100% positive. Enjoy these times, they are so incredibly precious and just such an incredible gift!
