So What Happened?

Thank you for all your advice. I finally did get my period - I think I am going to chalk it up to stress. I really don't know what happened, and didn't feel too stressed. I am going to go to my OB's office just to make sure everything is okay though. Thanks again.
L.

Dear Lindsey F.,
My name is K. K. and I just recently had a complete hystorectamy.....The reason for the surgery was because I had severe endometriosis. The cause of the endometriosis is unknown but some of the symptoms were; odd periods, pelvic pain, heavy bleeding when I did have my monthly. I don't know if this is what you have but you can always be safe and ask your doctor to do a laproscopic surgery...very short, day surgery.
Good luck and I hope all is well..One more thing, my doctor told me that having children would subside the pain...Which it did when I was pregnant with both of my children now 6+5, but after the pregnancys the pain and irregular periods came back...
As I mentioned above it would not hurt to mention this to your O.B.G.Y.N
Take care,
K. K.

you will probably have to wait another week or 2 to see if you get your period and or to get a more accuracte answer on a pregnancy test. keep us posted

Did you or are you breastfeeding? This happened to me a few months after I started weaning my daughter. I wasn't pregnant, it can take up to 6 months for your cycles to be normal after you stop nursing. Good luck.

The same thing happened to me when I was pregnant with my daughter. I guess false negatives are pretty common. I was 9 weeks pregnant when I actually found out. I'd just wait another week two (I know...easy for me to say)before taking another.

Hi L.. For me, I had to go to my primary doctor's for a blood test (the one where you have to fast before the blood is drawn). Mine came back that I had begun the process menopause (that was a year ago).
