Anyone have any recommendations for a great place to go for Lasik?

I went to TLC Laser Eye Center (www.tlcvision.com) and they did a fantastic job. That's where Tiger Woods and other athletes have had theirs done. There's an office in Edina and they offer a free consultation to ensure you're a candidate and to go over details about the procedre. I had mine done in 2000 and it was the best thing I've ever done and worth every penny. Good luck!

I had Dr. David Whiting do my surgery. He had his own clinic at the time, but he is now with Joffe Medicenter. The guy's done 75,000 LASIK procedures at last count.

I have two friends who also had theirs done by him, and they were happy with everything.
You won't regret it! My surgery has already paid for itself several times over.
I went to the Southdale Eye Clinic and saw Dr. Croissant 4 years ago. He did my sister's eyes 2 years before. They do a fantastic job and the procedure is done at the Faiview Southdale Hospital- outpatient and doesn't cost any more than the small clinics. I felt much more comfortable having the procedure done at the hospital rather than just in a clinic. Also, just something to know, I had really bad eyesight before the procedure and they told me that they weren't sure that they could be able to correct it full... I see 20/15 in one eye and 20/20 in the other, but this did not come without some re-training. If you have really bad eyes and have worn glasses a long time go in expecting that after the procedure there will be some adjusting time... anywhere from a couple months to a year. Your eyes have been used to help in focusing and it does take time to adjust. Does this mean you won't see great right after the procedure... NO! It means that at times when you go from close up to far away that focusing will take a bit longer or that seeing at night might be a little challenging... don't worry it gets better and it's worth it!
