Does anybody have any inexpensive landscaping names in Plano, Frisco, McKinney area? I need my front beds done, but don't want to sign a contract with anybody. I just need it fixed up once and then I can maintain it.
Are you looking for someone to plant too or just prune up and weed what you have? There are several good nursuries in our area. There is the one in Frisco which is more organic (and the name escapes me), Bruce Miller in Prosper and there is a good one in Celina that I also cannot think of the name that used to be in Frisco. I would recommend you going to them and asking for recommendations. There is also Cristina's off of Preston in Frisco.
Blaney Landscape and Design is great. I dont have their number off hand but they have a website. They are based in Richardson but work throughout the metroplex. They redid my flower beds and did a fantastic job.

Awesome family, awesome work. I just had my whole front and backyard planted with beautiful flowers approx. 2 weeks ago. Prior to the planting they filled with dirt, cut down trees, tilled, etc. Beautiful job with a lot of pride taken. Oscar helped us pick out what flowers were needed to the various locations in the yard, picked them up and planted. I believe we planted 76 flats of 18 ea. flowers(nice size plants) not to mention the larger plants for the backyard by the pool. Approx cost for 2 days and alot of work $1400.00
He also does smaller job. . .we had a friend that just had beds planted and it cost $50.00.
Oscar also does my weekly yard service. Cutting the grass, edge, blowing,etc. and even keeps the weeds out of the beds.
I would highly recommend him.

I switched to a company called J.F. Lawn Service this season. I'm very happy with them so far. They do all of our mowing, plus have done special projects when I asked them to, such as removing grass/weeds from our shrub beds & putting down new mulch. I provided the mulch & they charged $35 to remove grass/weeds & put the mulch down. They charge $20 per week for mowing but that also includes fertilizing. I pay an extra $5 per week for them to keep the shrub beds cleaned out. They also do our weed control treatments & spray our trees & shrubs to keep them insect & disease free. I terminated our expensive contract with TruGreen & am saving a ton of money & our yard has never looked better! Their email: ____@____.com. Phone: ###-###-####. The owner's wife, Veronica, is who I usually email with & she's very fluent in English. I highly recommend them. (I live in Frisco).
We use J.F. Lawn Service as well. Switched to Javier this year and they mowed my lawn every week on the day I requested. They took special care to assure my dog didn't get out plus everything else I requested as part of the job. The prices are reasonable and the service is exceptional. You can do a Google search for JF Lawn Service Plano on the Internet and locate their new website which is under construction and should be completed near the end of the year.
