I am new to the area and have been unpacking a ton of clothing that my kids have outgrown. Has anyone had a garage sale in the area or possibly know of a consignment shop that does well in re-selling your gently used clothing items?

You can always try "Once Upon a Child" or if you have clothing that is more teenager-ish you can always sell to "Plato's Closet". I'm sorry, that's is all I know of. Good luck!

My friend owns a shop in Highland Park- Ravinia area called Principessa. They take kids clothes on consignment. Must be gently used or new and nicer styles.

Hi A., I would try posting some ads on Craiglist. I live in Northbrook and my last few garage sales were not good (even on a busy street). Also check the "wanted" items on Craiglist. Typically someone is looking for what you have.
