Lactose Intolerant, Nut and Soy Allergy, How Do I Wean?

Hi all. I have a 10 mos old baby who I am still breastfeeding and will for the next 2 mos until she is a year old.
She is however lactose intolerant and allergic to soy and nuts. WHAT do I wean her onto?
My first daughter was also lactose intolerant and we used rice milk, but I was also able to give her sunflower seed spread to make up for the fat. I can't do that with my second daughter because she is allergic to seeds as well.
I can't breastfeed her forever! So what do I give her instead? I am going back to work full time in a month so she has to be weaned.
Any suggestions?

What can I do next?

My daughter is also lactose intolerant and LOVES Lactaid. We had serious digestive problems until we used it. We used the whole milk version until she was two and then switched to 2% as the pedi recommended to cut to a lower fat milk then. Good luck!

Hopefully you will get some great responses here but also make sure your pedi gives you a referral to a dietitian that has knowledge in dealing with allergies. It is going to be hard for you to manage so many allergies so having recommendations from a professional is essential.

Lactaid offers a lactose-free whole milk - plenty of fat for your little kiddo if she tolerates it.

Check with Pedi and allergist. I had same problem with
my son. I breastfed him until 17 mos and then he drank Elecare
and now Rice milk. Your baby will need the fat until age two.

The seed allergy may be a cross reaction with the soy. My son also was allegic to all seeds all nuts and soy until age 5. He's good for soy now opening up many doors but our new allergist told us sunflower seed is very often a false positive with soy reaction. I think most of the seed tests ate not specific enough. My son does react to sesame but we've eased off restricting some other seeds (now if we could just get him to eat them). If you are comfortable, test a little patch of skin inside the arm with sunbutter. Or talk to an allergist if you are not confident to do it yourself. Many many of the allergy "positives" are not. As you become more comfortable with how your kid reacts you will feel safe challenging them.

My kid has umpteen allergies and an even longer list of things he refuses to eat but he is thriving off mostly meat and fruit and veggies.

Hemp is seed so make sure to do a safe challenge first before giving them hemp milk.

I agree that Lactaid or another brand of lactose-free cow's milk might be your best bet. There is also Hemp Milk, but I'm not sure about the fat content of that one.

Why does she have to be TOTALLY weaned for you to go back to work? Toddler nursing was one of my FAVORITE parts of the whole nursing experience.; No worrying about supply or carting around the ____@____.com pump ay work because he was eating good and drinking from a cup. No worrying on the days he DIDN'T eat good because I knew he'd just nurse more that night. AND when he was sick there was NO worrying about dehydration because he was a comfort nurser.
