Have you tried goat's milk? My husband couldn't tell the difference taste wise. Because of the size molecule it is easier to digest.

My daughter is 2, and has at least one watery diaherra diaper a day. I'm wondering if this is a sign of lactose intolerance? I'm lactose intolerant, but with me it manifests as migraines (totally sucks). If so, then should I transition her slowly to soy milk? What do you recommend?
should also add: We drink lactose-free milk, and it's still happening >.< Lactaid tastes terrible, and we drink Food Lion brand lactose free milk. *sigh* I guess it's still not enough.
Thank you everyone! I bought some soy and some almond milk (both by Silk) and she LOVES the almond milk. I'm using the soy for cooking. Her diaper explosions have all but disappeared! WOOHOO! Thank you everyone! :)

Make sure you are avoiding all dairy to start and then slowly introduce and see what trigers it. It may be dairy all together or just some forms.
I just asked a question about this. My 3 year old had had some awful diapers over the last few months and the doctor recommended lactose free for awihile. The milk alone didn't make a difference, but also cutting out soft cheese helped - the doctor originally said yogurt and cheese were fine. So we are sticking to sharp cheddar and I am noticing an improvement. She has no other symptoms but the gross stools. I should note they have expressed concern over possibly a gluten intolerence too which I guess can cause similar diaper problems..
With my older daughter, she went through a stage where she only wanted fruit and that was the culprit for her stage of gross diapers.
My son is one year old, and we found out he was lactose intolerant due to the same problem, so we switched him over to Lactaid milk. It works amazing and now he has no problems. It has everything he needs its just already broken down so his tummy doesnt hurt anymore.
cows milk is for calves. Good suggestion to think of soy. I would suggest hazelnut, rice, almond or oat instead. Make sure to get one without all the canola oil and sugars (cane juice, etc). It's actually pretty simple to make and then you have it whenever you want without it being processed.
My one daughter has an allergy to milk and she has been drinking Almond Milk and it is yummy!! The soy is horrible and lactose-free the kids don't like (my other two are lactose intolerant). I normally get the almond milk at Trader Joe's.
How much apple juice are you giving her? As a juice its a diarric. Could it be the lactose milk and maybe she could handle regular milk. Try cuting milk as a drink for a day or two. Give her cheese sticks, yogurt, and other products with calicum instead.
My oldest couldn't do milk til she was close to 2yrs old. She doesnt care to drink milk by itself but will devore cheese or yogurt.
Research IgG food sensitivity testing. She may not have a "true" allergy (which manifests within minutes of ingestion) but a food sensitivity (which manifests in the digestive system) and the ONLY way to know is by getting this test. Food sensitivities are on the rise across all ages (like chrone's and celiac) and can cause all kinds of issues that can be miss diagnosed. It can show up as rashes or ecema on the skin or obvious stomach issues and even behavioral problems and insomnia.
Keep up the good mommy instincts!
I wish you luck and God belss...A.
Go to almond milk and check out NAET treatment for both of you.
Yes, that's one of the systems. Try avoiding milk, and other products that have lactose, for a week and see if the condition improves.
It can manifest itself in different ways. It could be the lactosee and it could be the casein. I would just get her off it and see if it helps. Have you tried coconut milk? It tastes like skim milk. My son is very dissagreable and angry for days after eating dairy.
