I use the Acne Free from Walmart. The problem I had with proactive is it was being sent quicker than i was using it, so being able to buy something comparable in the store for a LOT CHEAPER was great.

If you look at the active ingredients in Proactive, it's basically Benzoyl Peroxide, 2.5%.

If you can find a face wash with BP in it - finding on OTC lotion is easy. That should do the trick!

Why would you switch if you are using something that works?

There is a difference somewhere or it wouldn't be cheaper and Wally World is known for cheapening products.

I love Clinique

I use acne free its sold at Target and Walmart its great. I only use step 1 bc thats all I need to take care of my skin. I do use a nice face lotion after bc my skin feels dry if I dont. I also only use it 3x a week during the winter months and everyday during the summer. If I over use it my skin will get really sensetive.

I know a lot of people who have used the acne treatment AcneFree that looks like proactive with great success. In fact, if you research it online, many people say that it worked when proactive didn't or when proactive stopped working.

Personally, anything with benzoyl peroxide in it causes my acne to change into cystic acne so I only use products with sacylic acid. They have a "sport" option that uses sacylic acid and it was great!
