Hey K. - I don't know if you'd consider an in home daycare. I'd never thought about it either, but I happen to have found one and thank goodness! She is the best ever! Her name is Mrs. Shamsi and her number is ###-###-#### and let me know if you have any questions that you'd like to ask before you call her.

Hi K.,
I don't know about Kindercare, but it looks like you already got feedback on it. I recommend Happy Tree Child Development Center in Carrollton. Not too far from KinderCare. ###-###-####. Our sons were there since they were 12 weeks old. It's clean, the turn over of staff is low and you can drop in any time to see you baby, breastfeed, or see how they are treating your son. For any place you choose, be sure to check them out at Dept of Family and Protective Services.

K.,
I would not reccommend Kindercare. I had several problems with the one in Garland. My son was sick from the time he was there. As soon as we took him out of daycare, he was never sick again. I would keep him at home to get well, then as soon as we returned, he was sick within two days.
Also, the care providers would leave him in the infant swing although he was too heavy for it. They never stapped any children in. I went in once and had to get a child that was standing in the swing before he fell.
Another time, my child came home with an extra bottle that he should have drank during the day. It turns out that we also had an extra bottle that they gave him that was another childs.
Other times, I saw them using another child's diaper rash cream, which is unsanitary, even though we provided our own.

Good luck on your search.
E.

I used to work there for 1 week and had my son there in the infant room and HATED IT. My son was 10 months and Separation anxiety REALLY bad even though i was in the room right across from there. The employers would just let him cry and not love on him or help him or me when i needed to go to my class they would be loving on other babies which were fine, there was A LOT of favoritism. He would not eat or sleep there, I would have to go to feed him and put him to sleep and he would ALWAYS have a runny nose. I also was left alone taking care of 18 18 month olds which is against the law. Trying to change their diapers while the children are not being able to be supervised.
I had gone their at 6pm in Jan and the facility was filthy and check it out in March and it was better but not great so i tried it.
I WOULD NEVER TRUST that facility to take care of ANY of MY CHILDREN.
I hope this helps you decide on the kindercare in Carrollton.
Good Luck!
