Don't know where you'll be coming from, but I am a stylist at a salon in WestPort. The salon is Statements and my name is C.. I charge $15 usually sometimes a little more depending on the hair. My # is ###-###-####.
Anyone know of a good place to have children's hair cut? I tried to cut my girls' bangs but it doesn't look so good. They need an overall hair cut.
Just wanted to say thanks for all responses. I ended up taking them to Fantastic Sams (again) just for a quick trim on the bangs. I still plan on having their hair cut for summer, unless of course they change their minds. Thanks again! :)

Shear Madness in Zona Rosa
We take ours to Great Clips. They do a good job and most are really patient with little ones.
Hi T.!
I took my son to Shear Madness (over in Zona Rosa in North K.C.). It was great! Although the cuts are pricier, it is alot of fun! :) You should check it out if you have the chance.
Take Care,
B.
I take my 3 year old girl to Shear Madness off of 119th in between Metcalf and Lamar...by the Cheesecake Factory. She loves it! She calls it her place! They sit in cars and get to either watch a movie of their choice or play a video game. Not bad for about $15!
Don't know where you live so this may not be convenient but I am a licensed hair dresser and mom of 7 so I have cut lots of kids hair! I live in south OP area off 151st and Nall. Have a little shop in my basement. My prices are very competetive, depends on length of hair etc. but generally $15-20 unless they don't have much hair. You can contact me if you are interested. No problem if you feel more comfortable in a regular shop setting. Thanks, M. M.
Have you heard of Shear Madness? There are a couple of locations around town. You can google them. Anyway, it's a kids-only salon. Instead of chairs, the kiddos sit in trains, barbie jeeps, airplanes, etc. There is a TV at every station with movies to distract in case they are freaked out at the prospect of a haircut. I think you pay a little more than a cheap place like Great Clips, but the people there only cut kids hair all day long and are much better with wiggly toddlers and ansy preschoolers.
My daughter and I go to Michelle Beckly at Sola Salon Studios (95th & Quivera right next to Toys R' Us.) My daugther is 3 and she loves going to Michelle. She is great with kids. She can be reached at ###-###-####. Please tell her Lyda and J. recommended her to you.
